Based in Taoyuan, Taiwan, Inyuan Technology Inc. is the country's leading provider and innovator of karaoke home entertainment systems. The company’s core business is development and manufacture of karaoke home entertainment systems, sound equipment, amplifiers and microphones.

Over the years, Inyuan has expanded its business to include digital music rights management, artiste management, music talent scouting, records production and sales. In late 2008, Inyuan produced and released its first music album with a rising Taiwanese star, and marketed her songs exclusively via Inyuan's family of karaoke systems and online digital music library at www.inyuan.com.tw.

The high notes of the karaoke industry
The karaoke industry has evolved dramatically since its inception in the early 1970s. What had originally started as an expensive fad in Japanese restaurants and hotels has now made its way into mass market entertainment KTV boxes worldwide, and even into the comforts of people's homes, especially in Asia. "Inyuan's current customers range from families (home environment), tour buses, hotels, restaurants, government organizations, to all kinds of businesses. Karaoke systems are widely found in the Taiwan consumer market because people here simply love to sing," said Ricky Wang, Senior Manager, Research Development Department, Inyuan Technology.

Taiwan consumers, in particular, demand high standards from their karaoke devices. They expect to be able to perform – and record – like a true professional on their devices, and expect their devices to store a large amount of music and tracks, offer good quality acoustics, a userfriendly interface, complete visual and audio effects. "We have to constantly innovate and improve our offerings to stay competitive. Our objective is to provide our customers with the best music and karaoke experience that's in line with the latest technologies and trends," added Mr. Wang.
